Fresno / Central Valley (Behind Air, Soil, Water Pollution)

AIR, SOIL, WATER POLLUTION – Learn what your City, State, Government officials do not want the public to know about.

50+ year secret water diversion operation. Rebuilding cities on top of secretly-replaced water system (haphazardly clamped sewer/water lines.) Instead of permits or inspections for most of this, public records are simply altered to match the new layouts – aerial views altered – old books, directories reprinted. Structures are re-sold as “original” to unsuspecting buyers – they are held liable for the maintenance of this trash and all the accompanying code violations.

As this operation continues, so does the trail of illnesses, bacterial infections, respiratory, amputations, deaths. City of Fresno caught in action!!! They stopped to name-calling, perjury, Restraining Order, sexual harassment and death threats against me for exposing this operation.

Earth Justice. Court Orders Clean Air Backstop Measures for San Joaquin ValleyEPA ordered to end delays on San Joaquin Valley air pollution contingency measures

OAKLAND, California - July 6, 2006 - Earthjustice and clients Medical Advocates for Healthy Air, Sierra Club, and Latino Issues Forum earned a victory for clean air protection Wednesday afternoon when a US District Court judge ordered EPA to promulgate long-overdue pollution control measures.

These measures, called contingency measures, are required under the federal Clean Air Act as a backstop to protect public health should the Valley fail to meet major milestones in cleaning up air pollution.

"This was an open and shut case. We went in with EPA admitting it had failed to do its job. But EPA wanted the Court to say it was okay to keep dragging its feet on the development of these measures. The Court rejected EPA's arguments out of hand," says Paul Cort, attorney for Earthjustice who argued the case last week. More.

Fresno, CA: Where Breathing is Like Smoking Without Filters (Sierra Club). EPA Gives Polluters More Time to Clean Up, While Asthma Victims Continue to Suffer. Being Hispanic and living in the San Joaquin Valley in California can be dangerous to your health.

In fact, simply breathing in this area, one of the country's richest agricultural regions, is as bad as smoking a pack of cigarettes a day and for Hispanics, who live in the midst of some of the worst pollution, those cigarettes have no filters.
